It snowed all day and nearly all night Saturday so we where not able to dig ourselves out until Sunday. Since we live in an Urban area where everyone lives very close together with tiny yard and row houses there wasn't much space to put the snow. So we got some impressive mountains and tunnels.
Basically we stayed inside all weekend. Spot was very interested in the storm and in the aftermath of everyone shoveling like mad. He was glued to the window.
It's already pretty warm and I noticed this morning that much of the snow has already melted and our previously buried Pink Flamingo is almost entirely visible. Looks like the snow won't be around long.
Wow! The pile-up snow is up to your shoulders! And we heard that Buffalo, where my honey lived as a young child, had just one inch!
ReplyDeleteFunny seeing the pups naked OUTSIDE and wearing pyjamas INSIDE....BOL! We did see all the flooding and thought of you...obviously Jersey City is inland! So happy you can just stay home and enjoy all the animals. Don't envy you the digging at all!
ReplyDeleteWe got a lot of snow here in Maryland, too! Your pups look delighted dashing around outside. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive snow tunnel!
ReplyDeleteWe loved that snow tunnel you made, I bet that was a lot of work! love those jammies...stella rose

Spot has the right idea, three of my dogs would not go past the door.
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous!! I miss the beauty of snow in NJ..but not the shoveling!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you all made it through safe and warm!
That is a LOT of snow. The dogs look like they are having lots of fun, but I bet you are exhausted from shoveling!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a lot of snow. We had snow on Friday, too,but it melted away by Sunday. Great pics of your babies playing in the snow. And sounds like Spot enjoyed watching snow and all the activities outside :-) Stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine what it was like for you to live in Buffalo. I recently moved to Manhattan and I'm a little overwhelmed by how much snow we got.

It looks like the dogs had a lot of fun! Just a little bit of snow play is great for tiring them out! Our snow hasn't done much melting yet.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know you got that much in NYC. I can't imagine pugs are big fans--even short little Dahlia could do without it. Fozzie loves it though--what a difference it makes to be a bit taller and with your belly further away from the cold stuff!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful neighborhood you have! I live in a similar area with different colored houses, all close together. The doggy coats and blankets are adorable!! They look like they had a blast!
ReplyDeleteHoly Moly, you aren't kidding about that snow! It looks like you all are having so much fun playing it! Can I come join you? Looks like you are also enjoying some quality indoor snuggle time. Stay warm my friends!
ReplyDelete-Love,
Sid.
Oh my dog, that is unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteThose little ones could get lost under there. Dip you managed to get all the snowballs out of Tuvok's coat?

your boys look so cute playing in the snow! I'm guessing Ping is like my girls and prefers to stay out of it. They seemed very happy when our snow melted.
ReplyDeleteSo. Much. Snow! At least it looks like the dogs are having a great time! :D
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lotta snow, and some grand canyons you've got there! Love the flamingo sticking out in the last pic.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, that is a lot of snow (and I say that as a Canadian! :D). The tunnels look like they must have been quite fun to traverse.
