If you are perhaps craving a flower crown in the style of Ms. Fealy, and I know I am, then you might want to check out Chatter Blossom on Etsy. This shop has beautiful crowns made from vintage millinery flowers, I am already planning to wear one to the jazz age lawn party in June.

She certainly had that ethereal beauty thing going on!
ReplyDeleteBeauty indeed - and very soulful eyes.
ReplyDelete(I bet people would have given her pancakes if she gave them that last look - that's a look to practice!)
Great photos of that bygone look. I think the crown of flowers made a resurgence with the hippies of the 60's ;-)
ReplyDeleteShe sure was very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like the flower crowns. The one in third photo looks very pretty!
I swear, every time I see a modern fashion blogger (be they vintage, hipster, trendy, or anything else) sporting a floral grown, I think of Maude Fearly. One of these days I must follow in her footsteps and don one myself. Perhaps for a May 1st ensemble?

*PS* Thank you very much for your awesomely lovely compliment on today's 1940s outfit. I fixed the two links that for some inexplicably strange reason weren't working right in the post. Thank you for bringing them to my attention, sweet Kate.
She was very pretty indeed.
ReplyDeleteHave a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
