Ernie Update

The news for Ernie was pretty good.  On Friday he had an ultrasound of his heart and full blood work.  The ultrasound showed he does have an arythmia but it hasn't worsened much in the five years since his last heart ultrasound.  His blood work was normal.  The vet said this is all good, except we don't know what happened.  It may have been the arythmia, but was more likely a seizure.  For now we are watching him.  He's pretty upset and hiding alot so this is an old picture of him.

  1. Oh dear, poor wee Ernie. We missed this on Friday, but the vet report sounds reasonably promising. Sending healing vibes and hoping Ernie settles down and isn't feeling too stressed by all the goings on.
    Cheers, Gail (and Bertie).

  3. If we could just explain medical problems to reassure our furry family that we are giving them the best care possible.

  8. I'm so glad that Ernie got relatively good results. I know the vet visit is pretty stressful even though it's necessary. I hope he is resting and relaxing well now :-)
