Second Cross Stitch Done and Mr. Tuvok Get's His Teeth Cleaned

I finished my second cross stitch.

It's Castiel from supernatural.  Though I messed up his eyes a bit.

In other news we took all 5 dogs to the vet so we could renew heart worm meds.  It was crazy

And Mr. Tuvok got his teeth cleaned.   We had made an appointment for Weasley to do the same but our vet said his teeth weren't that bad yet and we could wait a year.  I love my vet he's very honest and saved us 800 dollars.  He did say Tuvok had lots of tartar for a two year old dog and would be needing lots of dentals over his life time.  We expected that though since he is a toy poodle.  Tuvok isn't happy about it though.

  2. Love your new completed cross stitch project! So cute. That is great too that your vet is so honest. It's hard to find honest ones out there!

  3. I can't imagine taking that many dogs to the vet, nor can I imagine the bill! Yikes! Glad you have an honest vet. Mine said the same thing at our recent appt. Both boys had teeth too clean to bother with!

  4. What a great vet! And you are brave to take five dogs at once! Two is hard enough for us!

  5. Such a good vet! Taking four dogs at once must take some planning. we always have trouble putting the Urchins into their kitty carriers; last time Ziggy fought so hard he knocked the door off his. I wish they could learn the vet is only doing them good!

  6. We just had our cats' teeth cleaned and it was an ordeal, as well as expensive. But they definitely needed it!

  7. Wow, it must have been quite something to take them all to the vet at once. What a great vet you have, though! We have a great one too, paying home visits, which is a good thing as we'd never get Phoebe into a cat carrier ... xxx

  8. All the dogs at once....What a challenge. We three sometimes go at the same time, but two remain in the car! It's great to have a Vet you trust.

  9. Nice cross stitch! Bummer about the teeth, Mr. Tuvok! Our vet is good that way too - Rita is going to be 6 this year (I can't believe that!) but she's never had a dental cleaning yet. At her last check up the vet said her teeth looked really good and she could wait another year. (Which I put to good genetics, cuz I rarely brush her teeth!)

  10. Haha, that's brilliant!
Well done Mr Tuvok. Little dogs always have more trouble with their teeth. Poor Dip had to have lots of teeth out.

  11. You certainly had your hands full! Our vet is really good too.

Love your cross stitch! O used to do it but the bunnies always want to see what I'm doing and I worry about them getting got by the needle xxx

  12. Glad to hear Tuvok made it through his dental ok. I'm sure it's a time saver to bring the whole crew at once - though you certainly have a lot of leashes to manage. :)

    -Love,
    Sid.
